It amazes me the life I live. The things I have been blessed to experience and the people I am ecstatic to have in my corner.
They say God never gives you more than you can bear and I know this first hand to be true. When you feel like you can't go on He places the right people...the perfect things...the just right on time situations to let you see the blessings that surround you as aides to get you to where He needs you to be.
Yes sometimes the road we have to travel is difficult and can weigh heavily on us as we carry our loads. Yes we will cry, get angry, throw fits and fall out. We have to release that in order to move on.
Once we release it we are able to see the brighter day ahead. We just cant give up, can't give in abd can't let it get us down.
You know the poem, Mother to Son by Langston Hughes.Well, son, I’ll tell you:Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair. It’s had tacks in it,And splinters,And boards torn up,And places with no carpet on the floor—Bare. But all the time I’se been a-climbin’ on,And reachin’ landin’s,And turnin’ corners,And sometimes goin’ in the dark Where there ain’t been no light. So boy, don’t you turn back.Don’t you set down on the steps’Cause you finds it’s kinder hard.Don’t you fall now—For I’se still goin’, honey,I’se still climbin’,And life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.
I memorized that poem at 9 who would have thought it would apply to me as an adult.
I won't fall now. ..I'm still going...climbing...
My life. ..it's not an easy one but it sure is one that I will live to the fullest. Falls, scrapes and all!
