Time Stands Still For No One!

So apparently I was moving too slow for my son to get to work. He realized wait.... Dad is home that means my car is available. Mom, I've got to go see you later, love you and off he goes by himself headed to work like a grown ass man. I had to stop and say a prayer for protection and covering over my almost grown child. When he texted us stating he made it safely I love you guys, I went into a big emotional mommy moment. Not because I'm overbearing, not because I don't want to let go, not because I'm a punk, just because time has moved so damn fast. I see the little boy down the block riding his bike over his grandmother's house and I miss the days. Made me realize that time stands still for no one. Enjoy the times when your children are your loving adorables and enjoy the time that you see them begin to grow and discover independence and a will to live life in their own productive way.

Good and Greatness in You

I read this on the Internet and thought how true. ...

"To often are we misunderstood, kindness is mistaken for flirting, politeness and proper home training are viewed as an open invitation, lady like behavior is stuck up and/or insulting to those in interest, loyalty is stupidity and honesty is "ratting someone out".  No longer can we continue to willingly ignore the odds, truth is - everyone has a choice to treat others as they want to be treated, unfortunately not everyone does right, therefore a domino effect is created .. people become defensive, from the beginning expecting the worse in others ... until proven worthy of kindness and all it conveys.. its truly sad... yet for the belief of the good in all people -  we try nevertheless.. if Jesus himself was mistreated... I guess such behavior is to be expected.. unfortunate because who knows what people are going through, and how a simple kind gesture, someone sincerely willing to help... can change a heart.. yet, malice seems to have the upper hand.. resulting in humanity always being on defense,  therefore always expecting the worse from people - making true friendships at risk of being extinct"

Then I reflected. .. I came to the conclusion that, no matter what others believe and do,  we must be vigilant in being the person we desire to be. We can't allow what others are tainted with to destroy the good in us. We have to treat others kindly and with the true love instilled inside us to share.  Yes many would want us to fall to the defensive and question those around us if they are true.  But we as individuals we should know that the universe can not survive with the negative reactions of kind and that karma is only a bitch if you are.

So... we sit and reflect and learn that we can only control our own actions, our own thoughts,  our own reactions to the crazy way that people spin things that are meant for good. In the end the way others see things and place them in your universal path can only be counteracted with every fiber of good and greatness in us.
